Crofter’s Organic VP Sales Placed by K&R

Crofter’s Organic has appointed Shannan Ackerman as Vice President of Sales.

Founded in 1989 in Parry Sound, Ontario, Crofter’s Organic has grown from its roots in natural food production to become a leading brand in the organic fruit spreads category. The company remains committed to sustainability, ethically sourced ingredients, and delivering high-quality products that reflect its original values.

As a member of the executive leadership team reporting directly to the CEO, Shannan will drive sustained, profitable growth by both deepening Crofter’s relationships with existing customers and expanding distribution into new channels. Her role includes leading a team of three sales professionals, fostering a data-driven sales organization, and equipping category buyers with compelling, insights-based information to secure profitable revenue growth and gains in market share.

Shannan has a 16-year career in food CPG sales, including the past nine years in customer-facing roles with a focus on driving sales. She began her career as a sales analyst, gaining expertise in leveraging data to craft compelling stories that deliver expanded distribution and new business. Throughout her career, she has successfully grown brands and categories by building trusted relationships with buyers, emphasizing follow-through on commitments, and fostering collaboration across teams. Known as a resourceful and passionate leader, she thrives in fast-paced environments and is recognized for her ability to solve problems, inspire teams, and deliver results.
