Jay André, Senior Director
Jay has overall leadership for the research function at Kincannon & Reed. Prior to joining Kincannon & Reed, he was a member of the senior management team of The Buller Group, responsible for leading executive search consulting, as well as enhancing and growing the firm’s other lines of business, including human capital consulting.
Previous to that, Jay was the Executive Hiring Manager as well as Program Manager for Global Partner Hiring at Booz Allen Hamilton, Lead Executive Recruiter and Recruiting Manager for the Unisys’ Global Public Sector Business Unit, and a senior executive recruiter at Heidrick & Struggles. Earlier in his career he worked for the U.S. Government and served on the staff of a Member of Congress.
Jay holds Master’s degrees from both Georgetown University (National Security Studies) and the University of Chicago, and a Bachelor degree from Hamilton College. He is a past Board Member and Co-Chair of the Metro DC Chapter of the International Association of Corporate & Professional Recruitment
Florrie Wallace, Director of Research Administration
Florrie Wallace has worked in executive search since 1990. Prior to joining Kincannon & Reed, she held a series of progressive roles with Heidrick & Struggles. At Kincannon & Reed she was promoted to Director of Research in 2007 and became Director of Research Administration in 2016 overseeing data integrity, training, and vendor relationships. A specialist in online research, Florrie has performed research and candidate development for multiple executive functions in numerous industries, and has conducted internet research training for executive search associates across the globe. Florrie was the honored recipient of the Association of Executive Search Consultants’ Award for Excellence and Professionalism in Research in 2010. She earned a Bachelor’s degree with honors from Baylor University.
Stephen Coffey, Senior Associate
Stephen Coffey joined Kincannon & Reed after 15 years of search experience working with Fortune 100 clients on a global scale. His expertise encompasses agriculture, food, heavy machinery, and life sciences. As a member of a two-person team he executed senior Information Technology searches for one of the Big Three automotive manufacturers. He was also responsible for relationship management with the global talent acquisition lead for a Fortune 50 conglomerate, filling executive level roles across life sciences, test and measurement, and corporate units. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Siena College.
Greg Dooman, Senior Associate
Greg Dooman joined the firm following a diverse career in international agricultural development, business consulting, and policy research and analysis that began with post-collegiate service in the Peace Corps as an agricultural extension agent. He also served as an agricultural economist for the US Foreign Agricultural Service and worked on short- and long-term agricultural development and trade promotion projects in Latin America, Africa, and the former Soviet Union. As a management recruiter with Nathan Associates and Ernst & Young, he oversaw projects in intellectual property, trade, and commercial law. He also managed research projects and developed proposals for the US Agency for International Development, the Inter-American Development Bank, and other organizations. A graduate in Economics and Spanish from the University of Vermont, he earned his MS in Food and Resource Economics from the University of Florida and his MBA from George Washington University. Greg is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.
Laura Duffy, Senior Associate
Laura Duffy is seasoned executive search professional with a proven track record in full life-cycle retained executive search; recruiting C-suite executives across all major industries, with specialization in Technology, Finance, Professional Services, CPG/Retail, and Non-Profit/Higher Education. Prior to joining Kincannon & Reed, she worked for the recruiting firms of Korn Ferry and Heidrick & Struggles, and held HR positions with both Ernst & Young and Booz Allen Hamilton. Laura holds a degree in International Studies from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
Crystal Strauss, Senior Associate
Crystal Strauss has more than 15 years of experience in the executive search industry and has worked across most industries including management consulting, biotech, higher education, health care, medical devices, financial services, and manufacturing. Having spent the bulk of her career with boutique search firms, she gained extensive knowledge as a generalist with a proven ability to recruit across such functional areas as general management, technology, sales, marketing, finance and human resources. Crystal is a 1989 graduate of Illinois State University where she received a B.S. in Public Relations with a minor in Sociology.
Madeleine Tan, Senior Associate
Maddie brings with her more than a decade of research experience in executive search. Prior to joining Kincannon and Reed she served as Research and Client Development Manager at Signium International Singapore where she provided research and client development support to the Financial Services, Life Science, Professional Services and Technology & Telecommunication practice groups. Prior to joining Signium, she was the Assistant Research Manager with Sanford Rose Associates, and a researcher with KPMG Consulting. Madeleine’s past research experiences focus on Consumer Goods, Healthcare & Life Science, Hospitality, Industrial, Manufacturing & Engineering, Real Estate & Construction, Professional Services and Technology and Telecommunication. Fluent in English, Mandarin, and several other Asian dialects, Madeleine resides in Singapore. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Ottawa University.
Lilian Buckx, Senior Associate
Based in Amsterdam, Lillian Buckx joined the Kincannon & Reed research team in 2012. She began her recruiting career in 1994 and, in 1998, formed her own boutique Executive Search business, conducting retained research for multiple executive positions in numerous industries. As an expert in executive search, Lilian has led master classes to train corporate staffing departments. Earlier in her career, Lilian worked at various international companies in different management roles, and as a teacher of foreign languages for executives at a private institute. She holds a BA degree in Business and is fluent in Dutch, English, German and French.
Zachary Beatty, Research Associate
Zachary Beatty holds numerous advanced internet research certifications from the Alliance of Information and Referral Systems (AIRS). Prior to joining Kincannon & Reed, he was Recruiting Client Relationship Manager with The RightThing, a division of ADP. He holds both a bachelors degree in Communication and an MBA with a concentration in Organizational Leadership from the University of Findlay.
Hina Chandawat, Research Associate
Hina Chandawat has an extensive research background in marketing and retained C-Level executive search. Prior to joining Kincannon & Reed, she served in research roles for Heidrick & Struggles and SmartAnalyst Inc. Hina possesses a Master of Science in Biotechnology from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences and a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Delhi. She is a candidate for the Master of Science degree in Clinical Research Administration at Eastern Michigan University.
Ivy Kimani, Research Assistant
Ivy Kimani’s research, data mining, and networking skills were honed through experience both within recruiting firms and private corporations. Prior to joining Kincannon & Reed, she was a recruitment researcher, an operations manager, a sales team leader, and a marketing coordinator. Ivy holds a B.S. degree in International Business Administration from the United States International University, Kenya.
